Composing & Licensing for TV and Advertising

Dan Billen is Executive Producer, Composer and Part Owner of Primary Color Music, a custom music house with a global reach based in Lawrence, KS. Before starting Primary Color Music with his brother Sam, Dan worked at a handful of advertising agencies as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Art Director and Creative Director.

Dan studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the University of Kansas and Washburn University and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washburn. Dan has served on several boards, including the Kansas City Ad Club Board of Directors, Mulvane Art Museum Board of Directors, Washburn Tech Graphics Technology Advisory Board, U.S.D. #501 Career and Technical Education Advisory Board and the Topeka High School Historical Society Board of Directors.
